Boost Your ROI by an Additional 1% with Our New Each-Way Staking System
At BookieBashing, we’re always looking for ways to give our members an edge. After extensive testing and analysis, we’re excited to introduce our new BB Each Way staking calculation – a refined method that builds on the classic Kelly staking approach and delivers extra value.
Kelly staking isn’t designed for each way betting, we’ve analysed tens of thousands of +EV bets and optimised things to give you extra profits for the same effort.
Check it out here in our new horse racing results tool, see how the ROI changes dependent on the staking system and think about what this could mean for you!
The new staking option will be added to the trackers in the coming days so look out for that announcement.
The ROI% is the important statistic we are looking at here, the actual amounts are fairly arbitrary and will vary from person to person.

What’s New?
Our updated EW staking system is designed to capitalise on the full value of each bet by considering both the win and place parts simultaneously. Here’s what our figures show:
Extra ROI:
The new system returns a minimum of 0.62% more ROI per bet.
For bets over 105% value, that figure increases to around 0.78% additional ROI.
Real-World Impact:
Consider a bettor who currently makes around £2,000 per month on singles at 105% and above.
With a typical monthly turnover of £17,211, this bettor sees an average ROI increase from 11.14% to 11.92% – which translates to total returns of approximately £2,186.
That’s an extra £134 per month – and even more significant for those with larger betting volumes.
Performance Over Time
We’ve run extensive backtests to ensure that the benefits hold up over the long term:
2024 Analysis (26,000 bets):
Maximum drawdown was around 28% when using the 10% fraction.
Last 5 Years (72,000 bets):
The maximum drawdown increased to about 48%.
These figures highlight that while the more aggressive EW staking method delivers higher returns, it also requires robust risk management. Our backtesting confirms that even under these conditions, the additional ROI significantly improves profitability.
How Does This Affect Multiples
When converting each‐way bets into multiples, the complexity, risk and value increases.
As with all bets, starting small and finding the right level of risk and reward for you is important. It’s easier to increase your stakes later than to try and recover if you hit a losing run at the wrong time.
