Early Payout Tracker Instructions
How it works
The early payout tracker is designed for extracting value from offers such as 2up and their like. The bookie will pay out as soon as your team goes two goals ahead, even if they end up not winning. This provides you with extra value and can be taken advantage of in the usual manner by placing bets within your bankroll management criteria, or by using higher stakes and hedging.
Using the tracker
The above screenshot shows an image of the tracker in action. This is one tool on the site that is set up with laying in mind due to the nature of the offer. For that reason there is a different colour scheme and rating system.
The back and lay odds are self explanatory. The rating is the % of expected value you can expect based on the amount you’re are risking after laying. Arbs will come up as 9999.00 as there is no risk. In the top example if you backed £100 on FC Koln and laid £98.55 this would be a £1.45 cost to you. The rating is then derived from the expected average return taking into consideration the trigger rate (the expected hit rate for the offer) and the profit when it does come in.
The EV per £100 gives you a monetary expected value for every £100 backed.
The N. Odds column gives you a figure below which the bet no longer becomes value, so if a price is cut you can tell if it’s still good.
Trigger rate options
The standard trigger rate is set at 1.7% based on analysis of historical games when the offer has “triggered”. Another alternative you can find in the My Settings is to use the 2-2 method. This is a more refined methodology that takes into consideration the fact that the offer is more likely to hit where both teams are expected to be amongst the goals. The trigger rate is automatically adjusted depending on the fair odds of any particular game finishing 2-2.
Live prices
The tracker extracts data from Betfair as well as from bookies. These update every 5 minutes.
Results
We don’t track these as most people lay them off, the maths is not complicated and it would take a huge amount of resource for minimal benefit.
